Hal
Zabie - October 30, 2007 - by Gareth
Von Kallenbach
Recently,
I had the chance to speak with Hal Zabie - Associate Producer,
Sierra Entertainment - about the pending PSP release of AvP
Requiem. I want to thank Hal and Bree Cotten for making this
interview happen.
David
Stalker - July 23, 2004 - by Gareth
Von Kallenbach
Recently,
I had the chance to ask David Stalker, Executive Producer
of Vivendi Universal Games, about the coming action/adventure
game, Predator: Concrete Jungle. Dave and the good folks
at Vivendi were very gracious and took the time out from
their hectic schedules for this exclusive interview, courtesy
of Planet AvP and Skewed and Reviewed.
Mike
Arkin - June 24, 2003 - by David
Shipley
Zono Entertainment
is creating the upcoming console game, AvP: Extinction.
Mike Arkin is the leading producer for the company. When
we wanted to know more about the game, we made sure to send
him ten important questions on the juciest bits!
David
Stalker - August 28, 2003 - by David
Shipley
The Producer for Fox
Interactive, David Stalker, has agreed to an interview
with Planet AvP. It's not our first interview with the man,
but we hope it turns out to be the good as the last time
- where we got to call him Darth Vader, and he told us all
about the new game...
Paul
Pawlicki - July 06, 2002 - by David
Shipley
As Assistant
Producer for Fox
Interactive, Mr. Paul Pawlicki is on the forefront of
production for both AvP2 and AvP2: Primal Hunt, along
with some other of Fox's upcoming games - in this interview,
we talk to him about all three:
Aliens
vs. Predator II
Aliens
vs. Predator II: Primal Hunt
Aliens
vs. Predator III
Sarita
Churchill - June 07, 2002 - by David
Shipley
The
hardworking, talented and beautiful Sarita Chuchill, PR
Manager for Vivendi Universal, is on the spotlight today
in this in-depth interview; if you're interested at all
in AvP2: Primal Hunt, her role in it, and her experiences
as a PR Manager for a major company, you'll definitely
want to continue from here.
William
Westwater - November 20, 2001 - by David
Shipley
Mr.
William Westwater, the Lead Project Designer for Monolith
Productions, has already become a house-hold name in the
AvP community. Constantly on the forefront of explaining
just how good this game is, we thought we'd like to ask
him a few questions about that.
Pezman
- March 18, 2001 - by David
Shipley
Pezman
has done a lot in the AvP community; he's created the
first tech support site for AvP, runs AvPNews.com, runs
AliensversusPredator.com, and - if that weren't enough
already - works as a QA Tester for Fox Interactive. As
QA Tester for Fox, it's a forgone conclusion that this
guy knows some things about the upcoming AvP Gold Edition,
and other things Fox is diabolically doing. So, I've asked
some questions about that, and here we go...
Rebellion
Webmaster - October 13, 2000 - by David
Shipley
Some
of us have wondered who is the mysterious and nameless
person who runs of the official Rebellion site, but that's
something we'll never find out. Instead, this interview
shows what it's like to be this name employee, who works
hard to service the AvP community.
LoPin
- August 18, 1999 - by David
Shipley
LoPin
is the Webmaster of the official AvP site, AliensversusPredator.com.
In this interview, we're going to talk about LoPin personally,
how he feels about his job and the site itself.
'Alien
vs. Marine' Crew - February 06, 2006 - by David
Shipley
There's
a new Half-Life 2 mod coming up called Alien vs.
Marine -- yeah, you get to kill Aliens and knock-up Marines
with the super-cool Source engine. It's being developed
by a talented team of mod-makers at Facepunch Studios, two
of whom were kind enough to grant us an interview.
[Alpha]InfamousAndy
- March 11, 2002 - by Johner
Who is
[Alpha]InfamousAndy? Well, if you're a known user/abuser
of mods, you've probably tried his fantastic AvP
2: Special Edition modification. Its new releases are
something we all look forward to; to find out if there are
new releases planned, we interviewed Andy, and asked for
answers.
AXP
Team - February 22, 2002 - by Matt
Pruitt

Pruitt
Paul Sach
is currently making the Aliens Versus Predator Animated
Movie all by himself, which includes the animation, sound,
texturizing, and everythign else that goes into an animated
movie. Paul agreed to sit down and do this interview with
me.
Devilock
- October 06, 2001 - by David
Shipley
Speak
of the Devil, is a talented modder named Jonas "Devilock"
Mellberg. As Webmaster of the Gathering, a massive AvP2
mod project, he impressed all of us by making the first-ever
AvP2 skin: "Mama's Boy."
It was only a matter of time before we tracked him down
and had our way with him (read: interview).
AvP
Mission Pack Team - March 14, 2001 - by David
Shipley
The AvP
Mission Pack (AMP) is an upcoming mod project being
worked on by almost a dozen staff members. Focusing on the
single-player area of AvP, this mod will provide new levels,
new weapons, new skins and a whole lot of other great features.
And so, I figured we need to know more about the men who
are making this happen, and more about this upcoming mod.
Vegeta
Interview #2 - February 09, 2001 - by Matt
Pruitt
This interview
is with the founder of the AvP Invasion Mod, Veveta, who
many people have came to know and like, including myself.
So, I thought that it would be great to give Vegeta a chance
and clarify a lot of things. And I would like to start off
slow, and then get more complicated. So, here it goes.
Brian
Haley - November 17, 2000 - by David
Shipley
Want to
know this guy? Well, Brian Haley here is the Webmaster of
one of our mod hosted sites, APC Works. There, he writes
very useful Aliens vs. Predator programs for the community,
along with also making maps as well (who knows, maybe even
skins in the future). A very talented man, writing very
useful programs for the community.
Vegeta
- September 16, 2000 - by David
Shipley
Vegeta
is one of the head guys over at the AvP Invasion mod team.
He's Webmaster of the Web site, uses his mod skills to help
the mod get finished soon and also works as the spokesman
for the mod. He's an essential member of the Invasion team,
and we felt he deserved an interview.
Henry
Leinen - June 12, 2000 - by Glock
For the
last year, Henry Leinen has been working tirelessly on creating
a level editor for Aliens vs. Predator. He runs his own
software company, and is trying to get his PhD. Now no longer
a member of the PREditor team, he and his brother Chris
are now making their tools for themselves, and for the AvP
community.
Chris
Leinen - April 19, 2000 - by Glock
Chris
Leinen, along with his brother, Henry, are the ones developing
the PREditor, which is the AvP Level Editor. What these
guys have done for the AvP community so far has given hope
to many passionate fans of AvP. The recent release of a
preview of the PREditor has many excited at the prospect
of creating custom levels for AvP in the very near future.
But as this interview demonstrates, the best is yet to come…
Sadogoat
- February 18, 2000 - by David
Shipley
Sadogoat
is the Webmaster of the first (and one of the best) mod
sites in the AvP community; Cocoon-Ed. He has made various
skin and sound packs himself, which sure makes him an essential
part of the AvP community. He definitely deserves this interview.
Top
Cat - November 24, 1999 - by Gary
Langridge
Tom Crosswell
(Top Cat) is the Producer of the PREditor team. The PREditor
team seeks to create many new programs to help the AvP community,
like a level editor and much, much more.
Boris
- October 28, 1999 - by David
Shipley
Boris
is the guy who created the controversial AvP trainer that
actually and illegally works in multi-play, allowing players
to win by cheating against other players. In this interview,
we're going to give his side of the story, and find out
why he did such a thing.
