With so
many maps out there today, it's hard to know which ones are
worth downloading. If there was only some kind of weekly review
service that could point out to us the best maps to download...
you know what I mean?
The Map of the Week is the answer. Each time it's released,
which is once a week, it reviews a new map we consider the
best from that week. Our reviews promise to be both fair and
balanced; by pointing out both the good and the bad. We promise
a fun new map each week to read about and, ultimately, to
download.
All review scores are based from a possible five points:

(5/5)
If you know
of a map good enough to be Map of the Week, please
leave us a note.
The
Map of the Week is posted every Wednesday.

Overwatch
- January 06, 2006 - by Redclaw
"This
week, we are looking at a classic arena style map
called Overwatch. It is a fairly large, open world
set on a greenish-tinged planet. Constructed in the
style of Ally, Depot, and A Lesser Fate, this map
will give you plenty of variety for movement, eye
candy, playability, and strategy. I loved the fact
you can have only three characters in this map and
still have a blast. This map comes complete with a
firing APC unit, sentry guns, and versatility."

Circle
of Death - February 23, 2005 - by Windebieste
"If
you are looking for a unique Predator one on one dueling
experience that provides you with the opportunity to net
and toss your opponent into a pit of fiery death, then Circle
of Death certainly fits the bill. All you have to do is
find someone else crazy enough to jump from one precarious
floating island to the next and avoid falling into boiling
lava."

Abrechnung
- September 22, 2004 - by Windebieste
"Bunkers clustered together at the bottom of a darkened canyon,
with tall towers and scaffolding reaching across to the
surrounding cliff face. While this map is intended for Primal
Hunt, you will also find it works fine with vanilla-flavoured
AvP2 just as well."
