Black Widow Hey-hey! Been a long time, huh? Well, PAvP’s getting back on its feet, at least long enough to throw another quality skin into the limelight. All the scores are based out of a possible five points (or the number of  Alien symbols shown). Now, as for the skins, I go to the skin sites and pull what I think are the best ones. Author: Hell-Spawn Location: AvP Nation Basics What we have here is a part of a four-creature skin pack affecting the Heavy & Regular Predators, along with the Runner & Drone Aliens. For the purposes of this review, I’m singling out the Regular Predator skin, because it’s my favorite of the four. Shiny black aliens are a dime a dozen and the Heavy Pred carries its color scheme a little too far, but the Regular Pred is an excellent blend of punch and subtely. Let’s have a look! HUD Textures Well, they fit the skin as properly as can be hoped for. And let me diverge for a moment -- Hell-Spawn actually did something quite impressive with this pack in that he changed the Alien’s health bar; you don’t see that often! Now it’s a black-and-white glow, and bears the name of the clan this pack was commissioned by. Score: Originality/Style Going back to the Predator, now – the skin is black-and-white armor with very dull blue-green flesh and bright yellow eyes. It also has a bright red throat, which is kinda cool since it’s not often this feature is accentuated. He’s also redesigned the helmet, giving it stronger cheekbones and adding details including a spider design splayed across the forehead. As subdued as most of the color scheme is, I can see it really disappearing into the more industrial maps – that is, except for the extremely vivid eyes and throat. This offers a strong contrast to the rest of the skin, but unlike the Heavy Pred in this pack it doesn’t take it too far that it becomes garish. This is one sweet skin, overall. Score: Overall Great design in this skin, and the color scheme’s really well-used. Well worth the download, and the inclusion of three other skins make this even sweeter! Anyways, I'm out.
