Blooded Legacy Predators Hey-hey! Well, as you can see, SiL is being an alien biznatch like his moniker and failed to come up with an SotW this week (I say that with all due love). So, for this week I step back into the skinner’s spotlight to hype our community’s goods - and do I have a treat for you this time! A whole skin pack of the darker side of Predator culture. All the scores are based out of a possible five points (or the number of  Alien symbols shown). Now, as for the skins, I go to the skin sites and pull what I think are the best ones. Author: Raptor Red Location: Raptor Red's Skins Basics All right, this skin pack gives an overhaul to all the Predator classes -- Standard, Assault, Light, Heavy, and Ancient Predators. Mostly, it’s a black-on-red palette, though on some skins there’s a bone color or a bright green (for some reason). They’re all pretty good, but my personal favorite is the Standard skin, so here we go. HUD Textures Quite a change here. The armor and gloves are now a dark gray with skin as vivid a red as a Serious Sam demon. There’s also blood spattered on the wristblades; a nice touch. Also, the targeting laser is green now. Nothin’ too mind-blowing, but it all adds up to a nice effect. Score: Originality/Style Well, it’s not the first time Red’s used the red-and-black palette, but she stepped forward to outdo herself on this one. The armor has been overlaid with new skulls and textures from the Predator ship, giving a cool engraved look. Also, the helmet now has a wicked grin on it going from ear to ear, almost like Native American art. The only real problem is that some parts seem to have been textured improperly, leaving small areas like the gauntlet edges and waist with a bright yellow-green, which stands out pretty badly against the rest of the color palette. Score: Overall Wanna indulge in the darker side of Predators? Here’s your shot, 'causethis skin pack is as close to a band of Sith Lords as you’re bound to find in AvP. Anyways, I'm out.
