Cyborg Queen
Review of
the new Cyborg Queen: [insert witty comment here].
All the scores are based out of a possible five points (or

Alien symbols shown). Now, as for the skins, I go to the skin
sites and pull what I think are the best ones. If you have

Basics
To my
knowledge, only two Queen skins have ever been done, and
both were done by very talented people – Raptor Red, and
Strifen Glyphs. The first makes it into a dinosaur, the
other… well, just read on.
Originality/Style
In
terms of originality, it’s not really anything special;
an Alien given some robotic bits to make it look even cooler.
However, it did change the actual skin of the Queen – instead
of the blues and silvers of yesteryear (I’ve always wanted
to say that…), the new fashion-conscious Queen now sports
a slimy green skin. I fail to see how that makes the Queen
fashion conscious instead of colourblind, but who gives
a damn? I don’t.
In terms of style, it’s a killer. Strifen has perfectly
blended the mechanic with the organic, with the later often
merging into the former, making it difficult to see where
the organic starts and the mechanic finishes. A must-have
for all.

Overall
Yes,
the Queen’s primarily a NPC. However, I find that the
Queen has become really, overtly tedious over the years
of game-play, and this skin is just what the game needs.
It’s fresh, it’s new, and most of all it has a
nice feel about it. I suggest everyone who’s sick of
the average Queen to get it.
