We all know this guy, since he manages a site already, and has had Skin of the Week before. This time, I'm reviewing his skin Military Blazer, which he says he took from AvP: Extinction. You noobs remember that game, right? I hope so." Score: Genocide Pack - February 25, 2007 by Neoalien "This is what I think happened. Big Momma Queen lost an egg. She was sure she laid it in the hive, but it was nowhere to be found. What happened was a day earlier, she was taking a stroll down the beach and pop! An egg rolled out! Whoops! "Poor, little eggy was forgotten about. Out comes a cute little facehugger, who looks for its new playmate. Poor jellyfish didn't know what hit him/her/it. And there ya go, Genocide (in some language, it translates into 'jellyfish') Alien is conceived. "This glorious week, I'm reviewing a skin pack by X-Mike. I don't know this guy, I just know he made this rather unique alien skin pack. I was looking at the alien's head and was trying to figure out what sorry SOB it came out of. In my opinion, it's a jellyfish. Or maybe my reading glasses broke when I sat on them the other day and I'm just too lazy to repair them." Score: Toxic Fusion - February 02, 2007 by Neoalien "Aliens have no fear; none at all. Yet sometimes, they also think 'caca' means chocolate eclair. "This guy decided there was no harm jumping into a toxic spill--it's like water to him. Well, that's what he thought, anyways. He thought he just got HIV. He was gonna check into a clinic and get his *ahem* thingy swabbed (ouch), but a thought came to him. Toxic waste does not translate into pure clean water (AKA Aqua). So phew, no swab! "This week, I'm reviewing a skin done by X-mandalore-X. His skin is called Toxic Fusion. You might know this guy, since he helps run FileFront's AvP site. 'Nuff said." Score: Xenomorph Eradication Squad - January 19, 2007 by Neoalien "This grand week, I'm reviewing a skin pack done by Raptor Red. In case you b*tchs don't know, Raptor Red is one of the best skinners I've ever seen. Case in point. It's the Xenomorph Eradication Squad, or XES for short. And it looks kick-ass, as far as I'm concerned." Score: Gore Marines - January 12, 2007 by Neoalien "These marines got into a fight with some rabid predators. Ouch. And you thought rabies could only affect dogs and cats? Maybe it was your pet gerbil that did this. Actually, why do you have a pet gerbil? (Shipley?) "*Ahem* This week, I'm reviewing a skin pack called Gore Marines, by Alien King. As the name implies, the marines are all bloodied-up. Yeah - gore on their face, plus some more lovingly splashed on their bodies. That's not strawberry jam, folks." Score: Inferno Pred Skin - September 01, 2006 by Alain "Some of us still get the occasional thrill out of playing AvP2, cloaking up as a predator and sneaking up behind someone only to uncloak, and behead them. While this may be fun for the hunter, the prey may not always have as much fun. What better way to scare the hell out of your opponent other than…showing up as hell yourself! An old skin done by KingKenny way back when, I used to use this skin a lot myself, until I stopped playing. This and his Matrix Drone skin, previously reviewed by SiL. It re-skins the aliens, marine weapons, and the marine vehicles." Score: Nekekami - May 27, 2006 by Dark Warrior "Here is a skin called Nekekami, by the great artist, Raptor Red. From what I gather, it is based on some Ninja. The name, Nekekami, is a team of Elite Assassins in Battletech." Score: Badass Predator - February 18, 2006 by Dark Warrior "Today, I’m reviewing a skin by the talented author, Yeyinde, from Yeyinde’s Skins. It is a very cool, gold-colored skin with several changes made to it when compared to the standard skin. Most noticeably is the mask, which now has sort of a ridged saw-blade ring around it, that looks very nice. According the Yeyinde the mask is a combination of the standard, heavy and assault predator masks." Score: Pumpkin Drone - February 08, 2006 by Pseudo Hero "This skin was done by NeoAlien. I like this skin. If you catch me in-game playing standard AvP instead of the AJL mod (or when I’m playing single-player), I like to spice things up for my sexy ol’ Mr. Banana Head. Included is a new large blade mounted on the side of the predator’s arm, like the one seen in the AvP movie. Also included is a new Egyptian style spear, and a modeled wolf head that replaced Ichiro’s default head." Some people liked it, the majority hated it and wanted Anderson dead. For the purposes of this review I’m singling out the Regular Pred skin, because it’s my favorite of the four. Shiny black aliens are a dime a dozen and the Heavy Pred carries its color scheme a little too far, but the Regular Pred is an excellent blend of punch and subtely. Let’s have a look!" Score: Blooded Legacy Predators - January 07, 2004 by Chris Beaver "All right, this skin pack gives an overhaul to all the Predator classes -- Standard, Assault, Light, Heavy, and Ancient Predators. Mostly, it’s a black-on-red palette, though on some skins there’s a bone color or a bright green (for some reason). However, they ‘can’ make a good warrior - it doesn’t mean it does. You also need knowledge and skill, and some form of natural advantage. So, what’s the Predator’s unique advantage? Its strength, definitely, and its amazing technology, but originally, the Predator’s main advantage was that, if it was discovered, it still had its overwhelming appearance.
