Author: Frost Location: FileFront The Basics Well, today, or tonight rather, I’m reviewing a pretty cool skin by an old skinner named “Frost”. I don’t know what happened to her or her site, which had some really cool skins on it, but I still have the Midnight Predator skin she made, so I figured I’d share it with you all. HUD Textures Basically every thing about the HUD has been changed. Icons to weapon colors, everything is now a cool blue color. There are obvious changes to the health and energy meters, as well as the icons above them. Every weapon has been skinned to match the predator’s colors, and even the weapon select menu received a face lift. Score: Originality/Style Well, I haven’t seen anymore like this, and I certainly have ran across very few skins in which the skinner had taken the time to skin everything about the skin, including weapon menu. It’s a great skin, very cool looking in game, and I just love the HUD colors. A definite must-have for predator lovers, and skin collectors (if there are any out there). Score: Overall There’s nothing I can really fault this model on, except maybe the fact that they didn’t skin the 3rd person view of the weapons. Apparently the skinner either forgot or didn’t think it necessary. Other than that, I’d say it’s perfect.
