Biography

Validus was born under mysterious and unknown circumstances. He has little knowledge of his true parents. Found in the woods as a child, he was discovered by a passing elf caravan; he was told that his foster parents adopted him roughly a couple days after this event. His guardians saw great potential in him, and as soon as Validus could speak, they apprenticed him to a local magician. At the age of 150, he was already rivaling his 603 years old masters powers. His potential was truly great, just as his foster parents saw, but when he returned to his parents for a visit to thank them, he was informed they had been murdered 3 years previous. He returned to his master and stayed with him for another 74 years. At the age of 224, Validus had exceeded his master�s powers. He was an apprentice no longer. He would find his parents murderers. After leaving his master, he wasnt seen for 20 years. When he returned to his hometown, he discovered his old master had died. He decided to take up residence in his former masters home, rarely to be seen in plain sight. Rumors say that 3 skulls reside on a shelf in the tower. Some say they belong to his parents murderers and some say they are his parents and his old master and he was the one who killed them all. Hatred grew in the town towards this once respected mage mainly due to the bad rumors. One day, a gromada of dwellers gathered with steaks and fire to kill the mage. The tower was lit on fire and the town dwellers awaited him too make his exit form the tower. He never did. The tower burnt down, his body was not found, and neither were the three skulls. The whole town grew hatred towards themselves. Until today, 5 years after the tower was burnt down, the town has been divided into two, a side who hates the mage, and a side that loves him. The side that despises Validus keeps on saying that the mage is wondering the land, killing whoever comes across his path while the other side says that he is wondering the land looking, for a new home in the wilderness, fearing going to another town and reproducing his pasts events.
