In this poll, we asked which, out of three choices, would you rather have Blizzard Entertainment make next (after WarCraft III and the Expansion Set for Diablo II). We all know the Diablo II Expansion Set is in development, but that doesn't necessarily mean that there won't be another Diablo series game, the major reason why we gave the choice for "Diablo III (3)". StarCraft was, and is, an extremely popular and successful title, and Brood War left us off at what was some kind of cliffhanger-- this could mean that we might see a sequel in the future. For this subject, we gave the choice "StarCraft 2."
Many fans turned out to be interested in seeing the company produce a completely new series or single title, since the three current series' are getting somewhat old. We're not stating that they aren't populated with poor-quality software, but that since Blizzard has been producing games for modern computers, WarCraft, Diablo, and StarCraft games have been the only titles. Onto the results from this poll. Diablo 3 and StarCraft 2 shared the majority of votes for most of the week, but the latter ended up receiving the most votes in the end. Below are the statistics:
