Coming of age! The magic 21.
We also have reached a birthday of sorts with the forums: 100,000 posts and 10,000 members! (Not to mention that our own Dr. Evil hit the 1000 post mark) Three cheers and drinks all around!
Hip, hip, hooray! Hip, hip, hooray! Hip, hip, hooray!
Keep it coming!
On a side note to this joyous milestone ... (Stomper pauses to throw back a cold one.)
This week I spent a good deal of time writing up my first manual. A manual for newbie Hardcore players. If you haven't tried Hardcore yet, you might check out the thread and see if it helps. You can find it in the Hardcore Forum or just drop in directly here: Hardcore Manual for Newbies (very long). If you are an experienced Hardcore player - take a look and offer up your critique or suggestions on how to tweak the builds!
While we are on the subject of Hardcore Play, You might want to sign up in the Roll Call threads so that you can find people to play with in Hardcore. A good friend in Hardcore can between the difference between life and death - and in Death - the difference between loosing it all and getting a head start in the next life.
For those of you sitting on the bench and wondering whether or not to give Hardcore a try, check out this thread and give your voice or comment!
What's the point in a Hardcore Char?
Another good thread for Experts and Newbies alike is: Danger zones for HC characters. Stop in a give us your take or gather a little advice to keep yourself around a little while longer.
And now for something truly different:

Paladin: The very first class I tried both offline and online. Not knowing of the great resources we have here, I botched both pretty bad (offline, I never got past Act 2; online, I got to Nightmare but couldn’t kill anything). After those experiences, I shied away from the Paladin, instead playing the Barbarian to death. But now, now I am finally taking the Holy Warrior on again -- with a little help, of course.
The obvious place to start is the Paladin's Prayer Book. There are plenty of topics there, but one of the first everyone should look at is Savior Goumindong‘s Paladin Skill Point Distribution (repost), or as I like to call it, "Paladin 101".
A quick scan down the topics in the Prayer Book and I can guarantee you will see Savior's name pop up a lot. No wonder, though, as he is (in my humble opinion) one of the, if not the foremost, experts on the Paladin I have ever seen. I would highly recommend going through his profile to see the topics and replies he has written. They are chock full of great info.
The Paladin is one of the few classes where crowd control is not so obvious a choice; so how do they do it? Check out this topic, ironically named Crowd Control.
Alright, so now I'm armed with the basics, I have an idea as to where I'm going to take "Madmardegen", (hey, I was watching Willow that night) but a big question remains: What is the best pally equipment? There are a few different perspectives, but it covers the bases as well as anything.
Throughout each of these topics there is a ton of information, possibly enough to answer many of the questions regarding pally's, but I'll let you find what you need within these.
