Sissy: Some movies just have an epic sort of feel right from the get go. Fortunately for Enemy Territory movie movie fans, mAx Chapter 2 has it! The first in mAx's series, "mAx The Movie", was one of the first videos we reviewed here in Sissy & Eggbert and we had some real mixed boners on that one.
Eggbert: Yup, mAx was the recipient of my first ever boney hand down in this column. His first movie left me limp, but I'm happy to report that his second video is a big improvement in my book.
Sissy: Your book is Penthouse, so that's not saying much really. But Eggbert is right, mAx's sequel is a step up, featuring top notch graphics, great effects, some nice ET action and a terrific soundtrack.
Eggbert: My only complaint is that there was no food in this video. A nice big ham, or a turkey maybe, would have really made this film sheer ecstasy.
Sissy: Wow, you're being very generous with the compliments today, have a good lunch?
Eggbert: Yup, a box of donuts with a side order of tasty waitress. *burp*
Sissy: Zombies. Can't live with them, can't stuff them in the ground because they just crawl right back out! All said and done, I'm happy to report that not ALL sequels suck! A little hefty at 350MB, but if you're big in to Enemy Territory movies then you won't want to miss out on mAx Chapter 2. Really an all-around good movie, two boners up from this cat!
Eggbert: Meow. I wouldn't be me if I gave it two whole stiffies, so 1.5 all the way up from big Eggerz! Congrats mAx, you don't totally suck.
Sissy: It's a tough job following "mAx Chapter 2", is The Duel up to the task? Well let's see. The movie featured frags from kmt & sexyhot, but was the video itself sexyhot? To kick things off, I thought the intro ran a little bit long, at over a minute in length of pretty much the same scene repeating itself, I was starting to wonder if the entire movie would be intro.
Eggbert: Sexyhot, I like that. I'm sexyhot, don't you think Sissy?
Sissy: Err, yes of course. You're the only zombie I know that can get away with wearing hot pink spandex.
Eggbert: *blush* You're kind of cute too.
Sissy: Uhm, thanks. *puke* Back to The Duel... Graphics were average quality. Effects were fairly plentiful, I'd say not a bad job with them really... but, the action really seemed all over the place, and the effects were to blame for that. I found the video rather hard to follow. The music didn't do it for me at all, it was too heavy. What did you think Eggbert?
Eggbert: Uhm, I was just going to read your review then decide if I should watch it or not.
Sissy: *sigh* Anyway, it may sound like I'm being a little hard on "The Duel", afterall, the guy does say at the end that it's his first movie so not to whine. For a first movie I think he did a bang up job with it. Getting down to the nitty gritty though, I'd say overall it was average. Is it worth the download and the 13 minutes to view? Sure, if you're a big ET and video fan. I say rock that casbah!
Eggbert: Yeah, what he said. Half a boney hand up from me. I guess you could call that a semi. HAAAAAA!
Sissy: *groan* I'll raise you a bone and go with one boney hand up. Not a bad job for a first go at this whole video thing!
