Sissy: Hello movie fans! Welcome to another edition of Sissy and Eggbert Go To The Movies! Unfortunately the past week hasn't been so good to the video community. We had a little trouble picking something out to spotlight. We had one flick ready to go but decided at the last minute that it was just a bit too... uhm, stupid to highlight. Instead we bring you a look at MAZZ Movie Trailer.
Eggbert: Man, you're bringing them a trailer? A single trailer?
Sissy: Uhm, you could have helped me screen the movies this week you lazy ass.
Eggbert: I had uhm, other things to do.
Sissy: Let me guess, these other things involved large quantities of fried chicken, a twister board and a tub of mazola oil.
Eggbert: Wow, you know me so well.
Sissy: I really liked the way they did up this trailer. Black and white, raggedy edges, has that olden days feel to it, perfect for a WWII game video. The music, while it lasted, was also very ominous sounding with a build-up towards the end. I liked that. Then they switched over to split screen with shoutcasting. Didn't enjoy that quite as much, but I suppose a trailer should be a bit diverse. All said and done, this video is worth a watch, and the final product could very well be a hit if they keep the quality up.
Eggbert: Yeah, not bad. Speaking of movies, the DOOM movie opens in cinemas tomorrow. SPOOOOOKY!!!
Sissy: Yup, it does look a bit spooky. But The Rock is the only known player, I have to wonder how it will hold up with no major movie stars in there. IGN gave it a 3/5, and called it "The best videogame-to-film adaptation yet." Considering I'm a fan of Resident Evil, it would have to be REALLY good to be considered the best in my opinion.
Eggbert: Yeah that Resident Evil chick is hot, The Rock, not so hot.
Sissy: While we're moving from topic to topic here... did you get a call-back for the new Castle Wolfenstein game?
Eggbert: Uhm, I'm sure my agent just hasn't let me know yet.
Sissy: Uhh, okay, right then. I got my call-back. I'll be the zombie in the third episode standing around looking scary.
Eggbert: Well goody for you. I'm sure I just haven't heard back yet because they have a really big role for me!
Sissy: Hrm, yes, it would HAVE to be a very big role to fit you in it.
Eggbert: HA! You're so funny, I'm done here.
Sissy: Sulker. Go check out this week's video, that's it for now kids! And don't try this at home!
