Sissy & Eggbert Review:

Sissy: One of the most noteworthy things to happen in the Wolfenstein video community for a while now is the Crossfire Movie Contest. With sixteen entries received for the competition, that's a whole lot of movies for us, the viewing public! At this time no winners have been selected, but the list of entries has been made available for download.

Eggbert: Yeah. *grumble* That was a lot of downloading this morning to make this edition of our column. I hate them all! Everyone who entered the stupid contest! And those weinerheads at Crossfire for even having such a contest!

Sissy: If you hate movies so much then maybe you should be reviewing potato chips instead.

Eggbert: Mmm, yes, that is my destiny! I don't hate movies, I just hate downloading them. You made me download them, therefore I also hate you.

Sissy: Well that's good, I would hate for you to get warm or sentimental around the holidays. Anyway, we were treated to a great number of videos here, and obviously we aren't going to review each one. Instead we are going to tell you our favourites!

Eggbert: Alright, that's not so bad I guess. I still want to review potato chips though.

Sissy: A quick and dirty overview of our top picks before selecting an overall favourite. Remember that we are no way affiliated with this contest or Crossfire, we're just video-lovers putting in our two Deutsche Marks!

Eggbert: White Men Can't Panzer: Amazing intro and outro, unfortunately there wasn't much in the way of meat and potatoes in the middle! A great job on that intro though, just wish the rest of the video could have been as creative.

Sissy: Crisis: A unique video, a great imagination brought that one to life. Nice quality. The only drawback was that the video was a bit too long.

Eggbert: Wallhack: I think we saw this before, but that it had been edited for the contest. They added in some funny bits at the end, and the video was worth watching the second time around. I liked it, but don't think it has a shot at the #1 spot in the contest.

Sissy: I Need Ammo: Very creative and funny video. If I was a betting zombie I would say that this short movie could very well take the win in this contest! Great job overall.

Eggbert: PGA Kniferound: Very nice video, nothing beats a great knife fight... except maybe the slaying of spamming n00bs asking for ammo repeatedly! This movie had it all, I think it could be a contender.

Sissy: And finally... BANG BANG BANG I'm Dead: A little bit rough, but still an interesting and entertaining video. The old school music and Rocky theme was fun to watch for us old-timers! However, I don't believe this movie will be taking home any prizes.

Eggbert: Good luck to everyone who entered a video. Sissy and I have gone over all of the movies, and it was a tough decision, but our favourite is...

Another video you may want to look at this week is Brothers In Arms at sweRTCW. The movie weighs in at 380MB, and we looked forward to watching it, but sadly we had some MP4 playing issues.
