Sissy: Today in Sissy & Eggbert Go To The Movies we have something a little bit different to share with you. It's the Old Farts Film Libary, YouTube flickage out the wazoo! The videos cover a range of games, we'll just be looking over the Wolfenstein flicks.
Eggbert: Old Farts haha. At least they have the balls to admit they are old and smelly. Of course the balls are all old and wrinkly, but still they have balls!
Sissy: Yeah, way to make me lose my lunch.
Eggbert: My appetite is perfectly unhindered.
Sissy: Of course it is. So let's see what those Old Farts have in their little library of Wolfenstein flickage! Since we will be looking at several videos today, there won't be any full reviews, mostly just a yay or a nay as we browse through some of their offerings.
Eggbert: Let's just say "nay" and get it over with.
Sissy: I heard that, now pay attention, we have a lot to get through today. Raise a Little Hell with soundtrack of the same name. It's a pretty up-beat little ditty. The video quality isn't perfect (remember these are all YouTube flicks). I enjoyed the start of the film as they went through various parts of the campaign, but then all text-hell broke loose as they went in to the bulk of the frag footage. Lots of text on the screen combined with the poor video quality took things down a major notch. I'm sorry to say that I probably wouldn't recommend it. You're up 'bert.
Eggbert:OF= Xmas Story... Nice! You'll love this one, if you've not seen it before then don't delay. Go check it out now. A great Christmas story, a perfect twist on the old 'Twas the Night Before Christmas bit, regardless of the fact that it's summer.
Sissy:Walk Like An Egyptian is next up, another short video accompanied by the song of the same name. Apparently Old Farts just like to jump around a lot and get blown up! Regardless, I thought it was pretty cute, but I have to wonder if these guys have ever won a game! It's something a little different. Final word: Go for it.
Eggbert:=OF=Clan Birthday Bash Teaser Trailer features more silly from the Old Farts, I think this one would have gone perfect with the Hamster Dance song. Definitely not your average Wolfenstein video, I have to side with Sissy here and wonder if these guys prefer to run around dying a lot, rather than actually playing Enemy Territory! The YouTube quality does hurt the content quite a bit. But if you're down for a day of watching video after video then be sure to check out the Old Fart Video Gallery.
Sissy:Help!!! (A Tribute to Medics), I see dead people. With the amount of dying that they do, I'd hate to be an Old Farts' medic! Since these people are kind of a goofy lot, I think it would have been more entertaining if they had of shown us how "NOT" to play a medic. I think they could have done such a film justice!
Eggbert:Ode to Engineer, here's a film whose intro and real-life footage shows us why Old Farts may not want to quit their day jobs! Clearly they are not video masterminds, but they seem to be having a lot of fun, and that's got to count for something. For them, tripping over their own grenades is like the equivalent of me sitting down to a nice brain sandwich. Keep on fragging you bunch of smelly old freaks! I really don't even know what to make of this video.
Sissy: There are plenty more videos in the =OF= library, but this all we have time for today.
Eggbert: *phew* I'm not sure how much more bad graphics and cheesy music I can take!
Sissy: Clearly these guys are all about the laughs and having a great time while they game. It's refreshing to see a group that's not overly serious and I hope they keep doing what they do. Hopefully they just won't share all of their videos with us in future! /Snicker. Some things are better left undone. Good luck Old Farts, it appears that you'll need it! "A" for effort and enthusiasm.
Eggbert: This might be the weirdest clan I've ever come across. I just hope I don't come across anymore of their videos. HAHAHA! Until next time, after we've had some time to recover, this is Sissy & Eggbert saying... go to the movies? Or not.
