Sissy: It seems like every second week there's a new Enemy Territory movie by 400hz up at own-age.com, so I figured it was about time we actually check one out (if we haven't already). Does this guy just think that "more is better", or is his stuff actually any good? Let's take a walk down the red carpet and find out!
Eggbert: I really liked the intro, it had an epic feel to it, the music was groovy man.
Sissy: Groovy, man? You're a hippy all of a sudden?
Eggbert: Sure, free love and free food.
Sissy: No, it's just free love.
Eggbert: Ah, forget it then. I don't want to be a hippy anymore.
Sissy: I agree, the intro was nice, I liked the music as well. The whole opening scene made me feel like there would be good things to come. Since the movie runs for almost 12 minutes there had BETTER be good things to come, right?
Eggbert: You said it brutha.
Sissy: So now you're a street zombie?
Eggbert: That's right, want to make something of it?
Sissy: No, I want to watch this movie in peace. After the intro they switched to something a little more upbeat. Sort of techno-ish, but not bad really. Normally not my thing but I felt the music matched the action well and suited the video. Effects were decent and not over-used. Graphics were fairly sharp and colourful. Lots of different views and perspectives, personally I enjoyed the 3rd person views best.
Eggbert: But he broke one of your cardinal rules. Every once in a while he'd add in-game sounds. Does this mean we're allowed to hate him and give him a zero rating?
Sissy: We'll see, let's watch the rest of the movie first. But you're right, I'm not a big fan of in-game sounds suddenly coming in out of no where. It just didn't fit, didn't seem right. But really, I don't think I have any further criticisms. The ending was quite lengthy and while it didn't really match the rest of the movie I found it to be quite entertaining overall. I guess when it comes down to it, 400hz is a pretty good Enemy Territory filmmaker.
Eggbert: Crap. I wanted to let out some steam on his ass.
Sissy: Take a nap instead.
Eggbert: Okay.
Sissy: At the end of the day I thought Sleeperz Team was a pretty decent frag flick. Let's go for a quick recap:
