Sissy: Welcome back and strap yourselves in for another movie and another movie review! This week we look at Speed Limit, a trick / stunt video from ender and clov. The flick weighs in at 140MB, but there is also a streaming mirror for those that are too lazy to download, such as Eggbert.
Eggbert: That's right, I'm lazy and proud of it! I let you do all of the work and I take home the same pay!
Sissy: We don't get paid to do this.
Eggbert: Exactly, same pay!
Sissy: /Sigh, let's just get on with it, I have no patience for Egghead today. The intro was nothing overly spectacular but I still really enjoyed it. It wasn't too flashy, nothing we haven't really seen before, but very catchy none the less! The music was enjoyable, graphics are very nice for streaming video, and they employed some minimal effects to give it that little extra oomph! A great start.
Eggbert: Tee hee, one of the jumpers is called "noodle". I like that name, I think I will change my name to noodle.
Sissy: Well it's certainly appropriate. I'm no expert on jumping but I found this little video to be very enjoyable. It was fast-paced, the music suited the theme perfectly and they make decent use of the different maps available to them.
Eggbert: Bum bum bah bah bah bum bum!
Sissy: I think that's Eggbert's way of saying that it's a real toe tapper. I would definitely recommend this film to any Enemy Territory video fans, and fans of trickjumping alike. It's just over two minutes in length so they didn't go the overkill route. It was like having a little shot of whiskey in my morning coffee!
Eggbert: Or some extra pork rinds in my morning eggs!
Sissy: Whatever floats your boat. If I had to have one gripe it would definitely be the ending. It just sort of cut short with no real conclusion or fancy credits.
Eggbert: Oh my, no fancy credits. Must have fancy credits in future.
Sissy: Agreed. I think some jazzed up credits could have really capped this one off nicely. Regardless, I did enjoy it (as I believe I've said several times now) and suggest you all go give it a watch. 1.5 boners up here for a combination of great music, good graphics, plenty of action and an overall high fun factor!
Eggbert: Don't stop, don't stop the rub!
Sissy: Hrm, I'm not sure of those were the lyrics in the song, but it is catchy and will probably be stuck in my head all day. That's the kind of music you want in your video, something that people will remember and have trouble ridding from their head all day!
