Sissy: Before we begin today's review I think we should address the fact that Pappy-R kind of burned us last week.
Eggbert: He did? I never read what he writes.
Sissy: Most people don't, but I just happened to glance at Planet Wolfenstein by fluke and there it was! In addition to calling us "poisonous pair of putrid pundits" he also implied that our reviews are crap.
Eggbert: Wow, what an ass. Want I should eat him, boss?
Sissy: Good plan. Now let's get on with today's review! Today's flick is called Interlude and it's actually brand new, so we don't have to search the archives for a change! The original video by "fredd" was apparently lost right before release, so he decided to put up an older version of the video.
Eggbert: Whoa, this is a weird movie.
Sissy: You're a weird zombie. I'm going to start off with the Soundtrack since it was really the highlight of the film for me. I really enjoyed the music that was used in the film, in my opinion it was perfectly selected. The action was fast-paced and interesting to watch. On the negative end of the spectrum, the graphics appeared grainy to me and the effects were quite choppy and a bit bizarre.
Eggbert: It made me dizzy.
Sissy: You're always dizzy. In the middle of the film fredd included a rather strange intermission which made it appear that the game had crashed and his system had rebooted. It was kind of neat I guess, but also a bit sloppy and confusing at the same time. I'm not really sure what to make of that one! I'm having trouble judging the video overall, because some parts I thought were quite fabulous while other aspects of the film sort of sucked the chrome off a doorknob.
Eggbert: Mmm, sucking chrome.
Sissy: I'm going to try to score, but first I will say that if you are an Enemy Territory frag flick fan, then you should probably give Interlude a watch. Face it, it's not like there have been a lot of ET movie releases lately! But it also had some qualities that made it fun and interesting to watch.
Eggbert: Yes, fun and interesting. Would have been better if it was wrapped in bacon.
For me this will translate to 1.5 boners up! I have a feeling many would disagree with my assessment, but I was just sort of feeling this one. Might be the Prozac I have to take to put up with Eggbert.
Eggbert: Doh! One boner up for me.
